WE ARE AN ONLINE & MOBILE MOVEMENT STUDIO OFFERING QUALITY PILATES & YOGA TO SMALL GROUPS & PRIVATE CLASSES. ADDITIONAL TO OUR VIRTUAL STUDIO, WE ARE ALSO PHYSICALLY MOBILE… BRINGING THE STUDIO TO YOU.

Little Studio started as a boutique movement studio in the heart of Stellenbosch, South Africa. We soon grew to be two studios. Our next step was to move into the virtual space – we have not looked back since making this transition. No matter where in world you may be, you can access our virtual studio.

Locally, we have maintained our mobile option, bringing the studio to your office, school, community, home or event. Our team of experts is devoted to excellence as we assist our clients in their journey toward optimum health & wellness. In a supportive atmosphere we inspire growth, change & well-being through movement.

Private, duo-private & group classes include Pilates & Yoga for all levels. We also offer specialised classes for corporate wellness, rehabilitation, athletic performance, stress management, pre- & post-natal, children, elderly & otherly-abled bodies.

Certified, mindful instruction is offered in an inviting, calm environment. Years of training, continuing education & teaching have made us the dedicated professionals we are, able to give you this quality experience. We understand the importance of conveying concepts clearly & accurately (a crucial component of effective teaching) while recognising each persons individual needs.

Our Classes

Correct and regular practice of Pilates, Yoga and Dance will bring precision, stability and correct movement patterns into the body. Our daily life soon begins to take shape from our practice, creating a sense of ease from a stronger bodymind awareness.

All our classes focus on CENTRE, movement from a STABLE CORE, as well as:

Our Philosophy

We value quality over quantity, which is why we focus on private sessions and small group classes limited to five people. This personalised approach means you get more individual attention from the instructor, making sure you are in good form, well aligned and safe.

Whether your movement is strong or gentle, it can come from a centred and connected space. We aim to deepen the bodymind connection through movement that is mindful and free of tension.

Through movement, we find heath. We can learn from a regular movement practice how to manage our lives from a healthy connection to our bodymind.

MEET THE TEAM

Fran Siebrits

Owner | Pilates & Yoga Teacher

Fran is fascinated by human movement. She has trained in numerous body and mind techniques to better understand our human ways. As an experienced and skilled practitioner and teacher, Fran has a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of anatomy and movement mechanics.

Among others, her qualifications include BASI Mat Pilates, CME Equipment Pilates, Advanced 500hr Yoga, Pre-and Post Natal Yoga & Pilates, Budokon Yoga, Aerial Flying Movement, Fascia Release & Trigger Point Therapy, Massage Therapy, Mindfulness Training, Breath-work, Sports Nutrition and Endurance Running Training.

Fran is passionate about teaching, is continuously learning, and remains inspired with creative strategies to improve the experience of her clients. She offers specialised classes in mindful movement, athletic performance, pre- and post-natal, rehabilitation, group exercise, as well as mentorship programmes, wellness programmes, retreats and yoga teacher trainings.

Isabelle-Fefeu-Kleinsmith

Isabelle Fefeu-Kleinsmith

Barre Dance Instructor | Pilates Instructor (BASI)

Isabelle was born in France and moved to Cape Town a year ago. She has worked Internationally as a professional dancer for more than 20 years and is still extremely passionate about all forms of movement and how the body works. Along with Ballet, is also a trained Modern Dance Instructor as well as Zumba Dance Instructor. For Isabelle, Pilates is another dynamic and proactive way of training the body to gain strength and flexibility with positive benefits.

Gaby Howard

Pilates Instructor

Gaby was introduced to Pilates when she was recovering from an operation. Through consistent practice she was cured of the back pain which she had been living with. This naturally saw her wanting to share this with others, and she qualified as an instructor in 2010. Her Pilates career began in Johannesburg, giving group mat classes at various large gyms. Since relocating to the Cape, she has added schools and small studios to her list of work environments, allowing for a versatility in her teaching style.

Tasmin Le Roux

Yoga Instructor

Tasmin strongly believes in the healing potential of a regular Yoga practice. Through mindful movement and breath she aims to stimulate personal growth and self-exploration. She hopes to challenge clients to explore their limits, however there is always a gentleness to her sessions to ensure relaxation and catharsis. Yoga is a physical practice but also a holistic system that offers all-round healing, giving us tools to cope with life and its challenges, and Tasmin will make sure you walk away from sessions feeling empowered, energised and more connected to your body and mind.

Vaila Sangster

Yoga Instructor

She was first introduced to yoga in her early twenties, and for years she explored numerous classes before settling into the style and rhythm that best suited her. While the practice is different for everyone, she has found it to be very healing, where joy, self acceptance and a deeper love have developed. Vaila aims to challenge clients to be curious about their limitations (both physically and mentally). “To express ones unique self through movement is such an incredible gift and I look forward to sharing what I know and learning too.”
